Article 1 Privacy policy notice

1.1 SECWATCH provides this privacy statement to inform you of its privacy policy and practices, and of the choices you can make regarding SECWATCH's collection and use of personal information.
1.2 SECWATCH respects and protects your privacy. SECWATCH makes all reasonable efforts to ensure that all personal information provided to it is always treated confidentially and processed, stored and managed in accordance with applicable Dutch privacy legislation. Our website is also structured so that, in most cases, you can visit www.secwatch.nl on the internet without identifying yourself or providing personal information.
1.3 Anyone who registers on the website or leaves details there is a registrant. Each registrant gives SECWATCH permission to include personal data in its automated records for the purposes described in Article 2. SECWATCH's privacy policy forms an integral part of the terms of use, as further described on the SECWATCH website. By registering, the registrant declares that they agree to this policy.
1.4 As standard, SECWATCH will retain all agreements concluded through this website and the data necessary for them for at least 7 years.

Article 2 Purpose of information collection

2.1 If you provide us with personal information by which you can be identified, we guarantee that this information will be used only to maintain your relationship with SECWATCH Nederland.
2.2 SECWATCH uses the information you provide to better understand your needs and offer you better services. In particular, we use the information you provide to help you complete transactions, optimise contact with you, keep you informed of services and offers, and tailor our websites to your needs. Credit card numbers are used only for payment and are not retained for other purposes.
2.3 SECWATCH will not sell or rent personal information to third parties without your express consent, unless SECWATCH Nederland is required to do so by law or disclosure to a third party is necessary because of an acquisition and/or merger of SECWATCH. You also consent to our sharing the personal information you provide online only with SECWATCH departments and/or business partners acting on behalf of SECWATCH Nederland for the purposes described above. These SECWATCH Nederland departments and/or business partners apply the same privacy policy to the handling of this information and are bound by confidentiality agreements.
2.4 SECWATCH will not use personal information provided online in any way other than as described in paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 without informing you in advance.
2.5 Information you provide online may also be combined with information you provide when registering as an owner of SECWATCH Nederland products.

3.1 Links to third-party websites are provided solely for your convenience. If you use these sites, you leave www.SECWATCH.nl. SECWATCH has not reviewed all these sites, does not manage them and is not responsible for them, their content or the privacy policies they apply. SECWATCH does not endorse or represent the sites or the data, software or other products or materials on them, or the results obtained from using them. If you decide to visit a third-party site linked to this site, you do so entirely at your own risk.

Article 4 Security

4.1 SECWATCH makes every effort to safeguard your data. To prevent unauthorised access to or disclosure of data, maintain data accuracy and ensure the proper use of data, SECWATCH has established physical, electronic and management procedures to protect and secure the information we collect online. We use encryption when collecting or transferring sensitive data, such as credit card details.

Article 5 Suspected misuse

5.1 SECWATCH reserves the right to take both proactive and corrective action where misuse is suspected. This means that SECWATCH has the right to store and retain all information from and about a registrant as possible evidence of misuse. SECWATCH also has the right, where suspicion of misuse is sufficiently substantiated, to request further information about the registrant from third parties. Where there is sufficient evidence, SECWATCH Nederland may take appropriate measures, including exclusion from the SECWATCH website or reporting the matter to the police.

Article 6 IP addresses

6.1 SECWATCH may collect certain information, such as IP data, solely to gain a better understanding of how and to what extent SECWATCH's services are used, in order to improve those services and tailor them as effectively as possible to registrants' wishes in general.
6.2 The information provided by the registrant may be used to study demographic data. All personal data is anonymised in this process.
6.3 To protect registrants' privacy, all information collected through IP data will, in principle, be general and anonymous, subject to the provisions of Article 5. It is not possible to identify a natural person from this information.

Article 7 Changes to the privacy statement

7.1 SECWATCH has the right to amend this privacy statement without further notice. These amendments will be posted immediately on www.SECWATCH.nl and registrants will be informed by email. SECWATCH is never liable for damage arising from changes to this privacy statement.

Article 8 Complaints

8.1 If a registrant believes that the provisions of this privacy statement are not being observed or has another reason to complain about the registration of their data, they should contact SECWATCH's management.

Article 9 Transitional and final provisions

9.1 Without prejudice to any statutory provisions, this statement remains in force for the full duration of registrations.
